John Philip Sousa Foundation. A non-profit foundation dedicated to the promotion of international understanding through the medium of band music. World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles. A useful site for world-wide events and concerts. Claims to be "the only international organization of wind band conductors, composers, performers, publishers, teachers, instrument makers and friends of wind music."

American Bandmasters Association. An organization devoted to the recognition of outstanding achievement in the field of the concert band. Useful American and international links page.

National Band Association. The largest band organization in the world.

Band Music USA. A searchable directory of American concert bands and wind ensembles, with some brief contact details about each of them. Unfortunately there are no links to websites, and some of the contact details are out of date, but the list is extensive and a search engine such as Google can always be used subsequently to see if a band you have found has a web presence with up-to-date information.

Community Music Contacts. A list of full contact details for concert/wind bands, claimed as the largest set of band links available on the web.

J.W. Pepper. Said to be the world's largest sheet-music supplier.

Rush's Music. Our local music supplier. All things musical and a list of links to local concert bands plus other useful links.

The Concert Band Portal. Provides links to many concert-band sites throughout the world, with a useful search facility.

Lark in the Morning. A great selection of musical instruments (some amazing ones), books, recordings, videos and musical artwork.

Band Geeks Online. As the website states, "Devoted to the exchange of links, ideas, and discussions, concerning concert band music, musicians, and organizations." Has an extensive, very useful list of community bands with links to their websites which it claims covers the whole world, although 99% are US bands with just a few scattered British and Australian entries.

City of Swansea Concert Band. One of our band members played for many years in a concert band in Swansea, Wales, before retiring to Knoxville and joining us. This is the website of his former band.

Musicians and Injuries. Better safe than sorry. Instrumental musicians are a special risk group for repetitive strain injuries. If you think you have such an injury, this is a good website to visit before going to the doctor.
